My name is Pamela Harraway and I love LAA! My exposure to the Spanish language began in grade school and continued through high school and college, where I earned Bachelor’s degree in Math and Computer Science from Oakwood College. Since then, I have taught K-8 Spanish at LAA from 2019-2021, Grades 3-4 Spanish from 2021-2023, and now returning as the K-8 Spanish Teacher.

My musical “career” began at age 4 with my first piano lessons. My piano skills grew through my pre-teen years as I accompanied my Mother’s sweet lyrical soprano voice, and culminated during the two years that I accompanied the Oakwood College Choir. I also enjoyed teaching in my 25+ student piano studio, as well as teaching piano at BCJA and LAA. Coming from a musical family, I have participated in quite a few choirs and small singing groups all my life. In addition, I spent 3 years directing the Highest Praise Children’s Choir at Shiloh SDA Church in the Atlanta area and have assisted with the LAA Choir for the past 3 years.

When I am not at school you will most likely find me reading a good book, playing or listening to music, sewing, traveling, camping, cooking, or spending time with my family. I am very excited and am looking forward to teaching at Lithonia Adventist Academy.
