My name is Vershonda Waiters, and I am proud to be a Lithonia Academy Lion! I am a native of Florence, South Carolina. I hold a Bachelor of Science from Oakwood University, Master of Arts in Curriculum & Instruction, and a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership. This will be my fifth year at Lithonia Adventist Academy. I have a true passion for working with our middle school learners!! Helping each child reach their full potential —is a challenge that I am honored to accept daily. I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive, fun environment. Personally, I have one fantastic son and I love all things technology and working with my hands. I also enjoy music and spending time with friends and family.
